MPW Summer School offers students the opportunity to study an innovative, high-quality academic programme and experience the very best of British culture. MPW Summer School combines an exciting academic stream, innovative workshops, fulfilling enrichment activities, and a fun-packed schedule of social events.

This expertly designed programme allows students to explore future careers and traditional academic subjects in refreshing new ways, while equipping them with essential life skills such as public speaking and conflict resolution.

Location and Accommodation
Cambridge is a city steeped in history, renowned for its stunning architecture, world-class museums, and the prestigious University of Cambridge. MPW Cambridge is perfectly located in the heart of the city, right next to the University’s Botanic Gardens.

Students stay at Tripos Court, a modern, purpose-built residence offering single en-suite bedrooms. The accommodation is just a 15-minute walk from the college, and students are chaperoned to and from school each day as part of a group.

Academic Programme - MPW Cambridge Summer School features six academic streams. Students choose one stream to study for the two-week duration:

·       Business, Finance and Economics

·       Computing, Robotics and AI

·       Medicine and Sciences

·       Physics and Engineering

·       Politics and Law

·       Psychology and Sociology

At MPW Summer School, classes are a maximum of ten students. This small-group approach makes it easy to ask questions and ensures teachers can provide individual attention. Small classes encourage collaboration and engagement, creating a supportive and focused learning environment.

My Path; My Way - Alongside academic study, students take part in My Path; My Way, an innovative collection of courses designed to equip them with essential skills for success in education and life. Built around three core pillars: cognitive, interpersonal, and intrapersonal skills, the workshops help students sharpen critical thinking, enhance powers of persuasion, and build emotional intelligence, while developing resilience and self-awareness. Through interactive lessons and practical workshops, students learn to think strategically, communicate effectively, and thrive in a range of situations.

Enrichment  - MPW Cambridge Summer School includes enrichment opportunities such as subject focused tours and university visits, a weekly lectures series taking place on University of Cambridge campuses, delivered by academics from the University of Cambridge. Guest speakers share insights from their fields, and a university preparation workshop provides guidance on applications and future study options. These activities are designed to broaden knowledge and support students’ academic and career goals.

Social and Leisure - Away from the classroom, a summer with MPW is both fun and enriching, with activities to suit every interest. A mix of UK and international students provides the perfect environment to learn about different cultures, improve your spoken English and make friends. You can look forward to a wide range of exciting cultural and social activities. These include trips to museums, galleries, and theatres, as well as activities such as punting, Escape Rooms, shopping, movie nights and karaoke.
